Colorado CUp Freestyle EVent

We are pleased to announce the 2024 Kayak Freestyle Colorado Cup. This is a three-event series that will culminate in an overall champion from the Colorado Tour freestyle kayak events. 

THe Pros are Back!

CKS Paddlefest - May 23-27, Buena Vista, CO 

GoPro Mountain Games - June 6-9, Vail, Colorado 

FIBArk - June 14-16, Salida, CO 

 

Competitors will be ranked at each of the freestyle events, and the rankings will be totaled for all three events. The competitor with the least amount of points in each division will be crowned Colorado Cup Champion. 

 

CKS River Supply, GoPro Mountain Games, and Fibark have joined forces to provide a generous purse for all of the Colorado Cup Champions. We have over $5000 of cash and prizes to award both senior and junior men and women. *In the event of a tie, the scores at the FIBArk event will serve as the tiebreaker.

 

We are honored to not only be a part of but also to be the finale!

rules& regulations

  • Mandatory Equipment includes:

    • Coast Guard /ISO approved PFD

    • Helmet

    • Protective footwear

  • Athletes must wear competitor bibs outside their PFDs at all times.

  • A minimum of 4 people must register per division in order for a purse to be awarded.

  • Event organizers and whitewater rescue teams are not responsible for equipment rescue and/or equipment removal from the whitewater course should athletes lose their equipment during practice or competition.
