Introduction to Surfing, Slalom, and River Running (Level 4)
This course is designed for boaters looking to compete or become competitive in whitewater kayaking, playboating, and slalom. Prospective participants must be able to roll a whitewater kayak in current on most attempts.

About the event
SCHEDULE:
•12-4 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Classes are all half days except June 13th.
DATES:
•May 31, June 1, 7, 8, 13 (full day), 21, and 22.
•Monday, June 13th is a full day instead of Tuesday and Wednesday during FIBArk week.
•No class June 14 & 15.
PARTICIPANTS:
•10 maximum participants.
LOCATION:
Most of the days would be in the whitewater park but one day the class would do a downriver run, depending on participant skill levels. Water levels are dependent.
COST:
The FIBARK youth paddling program is funded by the annual FIBArk festival and the generous support of our community and sponsors. Financial challenges should not prevent any youth from participating. In order to expand and support our future offerings, donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
