This course will introduce and improve the skills that participants have learned in a level 1 course. Skills that will be learned include, boat control, river safety and rescue (swimming), surfing practice, and rolling.

About the event

Schedule: Full days, July 5,6,12, and 13.

Participants: 10 maximum participants per session.

Skills: This course will introduce and improve the skills that participants have learned in a level 1 course. Skills that will be learned include, boat control, river safety and rescue (swimming), surfing practice, and rolling.

Location: The first day of this course would be on the lake going through flat water practice, the next class would be Big Bend to Salida, then the last two days would be in the Salida whitewater park.

Prerequisites and Description: This course would be designed for the new river runner. The student should have some level of boating before this course, preferably a level 1-2 course prior (the pool sessions)
