FIBARK FESTIVAL CODE OF CONDUCT
Welcome to FIBArk 2025! We’re excited to share the river and the festival with you. To ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive experience for all participants, vendors, volunteers, and spectators, we require everyone to adhere to this Code of Conduct:

1. Safety First

Always wear a properly fitted life jacket when on or near the water.

Follow all posted rules and instructions from festival staff, guides, and safety personnel.

Do not paddle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Respect your limits—choose river sections and activities that match your experience level.

2. Respect the Environment

Leave no trace: utilize the FIBArk waste disposal options and dispose of waste responsibly.

Use biodegradable sunscreen and avoid single-use plastics.
-
Stick to marked access points and avoid trespassing on private property.

3. Treat Others with Respect

Be courteous and supportive to fellow paddlers, volunteers, vendors, and staff.

Sexual harassment, discrimination, or offensive language of any kind will not be tolerated.

Give space on the river and trails—share the outdoors responsibly.

Keep noise to a respectful level, especially in camp areas.
4. Be Inclusive and Supportive

This festival welcomes everyone regardless of background, experience, or ability.

Help foster an environment where everyone feels safe, included, and encouraged.

Speak up if you witness behavior that goes against the spirit of this code.

5. Paddle with Purpose

Be an ambassador for the paddling community—lead by example.

Help others when needed and alert safety teams if you see someone in trouble.

Encourage learning, skill-building, and respect for river traditions and etiquette.
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in removal from the festival without refund.
Let’s keep the stoke high, the vibes positive, and the river and festival safe for everyone.
