Friends of Salida Skateparks is a volunteer group comprised of local skaters and community members who have worked tirelessly the past several years to get a new park built in Salida. Derek, along with skaters Shea Donavan and Ryder Reed helped spearhead the new park project.  Their goal was to build a skatepark in their hometown that was designed for hosting world class skate events, with the first being Heart of the Rockies Rampage.
