DETAILS

This year's parade theme is "Shine Bright Like a Diamond" as this is FIBArk's 75th Diamond Anniversary.

This year's parade will take place on Saturday, June 17th at 10:00am on E Street in downtown Salida.

The parade will begin at the intersection of E Street and 6th Street, and will travel to 2nd Street and turn on 2nd toward F St. At 2nd Street, all participants are invited to join the parade leaders, FIBArk Commodores,

and special guests for a "Second Line-style" foot parade through the downtown pedestrian zone and

into Riverside Park. All vehicles will be asked to turn right (east) on 2nd Street after unloading

participants for the foot parade.

FIBArk is looking for any and all organizations interested in being part of this exciting event to register

for the parade as soon as possible via their website at www.fibark.com/parade. All types of participants

and floats are welcome, including vehicle or trailer floats, walking groups, bicycles, Hooligan crafts, and

everything in between. The theme of the 2023 parade is the 75th Diamond Anniversary and FIBArk is excited to

see what the community comes up with to celebrate this anniversary.

The FIBArk Board of Directors would especially like to thank the City of Salida, the businesses on F and E

Street, and the local neighbors who graciously sacrifice their parking on Saturday morning in order to

make this event happen. For any questions, please contact FIBArk at fibark.colorado@gmail.com.
